Why do I need a Longterm Protector?

If you are a firearms enthusiast and have a lot of firearms, then unfortunately you probably don’t have the time to shoot let alone clean each piece every month. You have specimens in your collection that lie in a safe and only occasionally please the owner’s eye.

That’s why you need a spray-and-forget product. And that’s what our Longterm Protector is. After using Gun Cleaner and Bore Foam, you wipe down the gun, spray Longterm Protector and put it in the cupboard. And that’s it, you have peace of mind for up to 14 months depending on the humidity level in the safe.

It’s a far more effective product than traditional oils – it’s a specialised formulation designed with shooters in mind, providing long-lasting corrosion protection and effective gun maintenance. Its advanced formulation creates an extremely thin and soft anti-corrosion film that effectively displaces water, even from hard-to-reach areas, providing protection for up to 14 months.

And what is the difference between Care Spray and Longterm Protector? Care Spray, thanks to its Teflon content, protects your weapon against corrosion by creating a dry protective layer inside the metal. This makes it ideal for short-term maintenance (up to a month)-you can carry your gun in a holster and no dust will stick and the oil will not stain your shirt. You don’t have to wipe it off before shooting like with Longterm Protector-you just have the gun ready to use.

With Longterm Protector, on the other hand, we recommend carrying out the full care process according to our instructions before shooting.

Method of use:
Apply Longterm Protector to all parts of the weapon as instructed in the video above. You can gently wipe off the weapon or put it wet in the safe for better protection.
